Let’s Eat Together, Jakobstad!

From let’s grow together to let’s eat together is a small step.
First, you have to grow before you can eat. If you grow your products locally you know where the food is coming from.
That’s important and better for the environment, local does not cost much transportation.

Growing and eating brings people together, that’s one of the goals from Let’s grow together, Jakobstad! Optima wants to provide schooling to all. Optima is a multicultural school where many learn together to grow into a profession where you work with your hands.

The result of the cooperation between Let’s Grow Together, Jakobstad! and Optima is named: Let’s Eat Together, Jakobstad!
We’ll have lunch on the Torget on the 17th of September from 11.00-13.00.
The lunch is put together and cooked by students of Optima.
It contains local products from the season and if those were not available then was chosen for fairtrade products.
The lunch will be a mix of several cultures and flavors.
People can come to the city square and eat the lunch there or order it via the local Zump for home delivery
To minimize the waste of food we make only a certain amount of lunches so gone =gone.

The menu contains:
Tabouleh, fattoush& tomato salad
Burger options: Lamb / Meat / Vegetables
Clift potatoes en carrot tzatziki
Lingon desert

The price is 12,50 euro per lunch.
